Gabriel Aprea<\/strong>\u00a0(Myrmidon\/Paris) is a senior BFA acting major at UCONN. Credits at UCONN include Olives and Blood, Be A Good Little Widow, Much Ado About Nothing, His Girl Friday, Romeo and Juliet<\/em>, and Legally Blonde<\/em>. Other regional credits include As You Like It, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream<\/em> (Connecticut Free Shakespeare), Chicago<\/em> and The Curse of an Aching Heart<\/em> (Hamden High School). Dance credits include 3 years of hip-hop and 1 year of tap. He is also a certified actor combatant of the British Academy of Dramatic Combat. \"MargaritaBlush150\"<\/a>Margarita Blush<\/strong>\u00a0(Aphrodite) was born and grew up in Sofia, Bulgaria. She holds a BFA degree in Acting for Puppet Theatre and an MFA degree in Directing for Puppet Theatre from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA) in Sofia. Her most recent show, The Crane Wife (2011) won the Boulder International Fringe Festival Encore Award (2013) and will be performed at the National Festival of the Puppeteers of America in Storrs, CT, August 10-16, 2015. \u00a0In 2013, Margarita joined the Puppet Arts Program at the University of Connecticut.\u00a0www.MargaritaBlush.com<\/p>\n

Marie Boyette<\/strong>\u00a0(Psamathe) MFA, CMA is an Assistant Professor of Movement at the University of Connecticut as well as a resident movement coach and choreographer for CRT. Marie is an actor, dancer, aerialist, nationally ranked gymnast, and movement analyst. Some recent work includes: Mother Courage<\/em> at Arena Stage (Movement Consultant), Three Musketeers<\/em> at CRT (Choreographer), Big Love<\/em> at CRT (Movement Coach\/ Choreographer), Godspell<\/em> at The Prizery (Choreographer), Grease<\/em> at Theater VCU (Cha-Cha\/ Fight Choreographer).<\/p>\n

Maureen Freedman<\/strong> (Costume Design) has designed for text based performance, devised performance, puppetry opera and dance. Among her designs; In the US: Albert Herring (Uconn Opera), Dead Heavy Fantastic, Intimate Apparel (NAPAT Award for Design Excellence, SILV Award for Excellence in Scenic Design) and Hairspray (all for the Connecticut Rep. Theatre) and headdress design for Gianni Schicchi (Wendy Toucher Opera Dance Theatre Company). In England: Wolves at the Window (Arcola Theatre and Britts Off-Broadway at 59 E59 Theatres NYC), Feral (Royal National Theatre Studio and Wimbledon Theatre Studio), Corpse! (Queens Theatre), Medea Triptych and I Hate the Way I Love you (both at the Place, Robin Howard Dance Theatre), A Christmas Carol (Shaw Theatre) and Dottie Lottie (Jermyn Street Theatre). In Israel: Herzel (Itim Ensemble, Rina Yerushalmi), No Bird Shall Know (Israel Festival), The Boat is Sinking (Tsavta Theatre. Golden Hedgehog Award for Best Costume Design), The House by the Lake (Acco Festival for Alternative Theatre, Best Design Award), Play it Again Sam and Traitor (both for the Be’er Sheva Theatre), Fat Pig, I love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (both for the Goodman Theatre Be’er Sheva). Maureen was part of Cheek by Jowl Theatre Company’s Emerging Young Professional’s Program and a Linbury Prize finalist in England. She trained in set and costume design earning a BA (Hons) from the Wimbledon School of Art in London, and gained advanced training in costume design and construction receiving her MFA from the University of Connecticut.<\/p>\n

\"john<\/a>John Hadden<\/strong>\u00a0(Nereus) makes his living bringing stories to life in theaters, outdoor sites and school gyms. He was a founding member of Shakespeare & Company, cofounder at Counterpoint Theater, artistic director at Hubbard Hall and associate artist with We Players. His writing has been seen in places like LaMaMa ETC, PS 122, EST and The Good Ear Review\u2014the latest was The Long Run<\/i>, which played last month at the Mount (Wharton Salon).\u00a0Travels with a Masked Man<\/i>, a memoir\/dialogue with his father, is due out this fall. Stephanie Hedges<\/strong> (Hera)\u00a0\u00a0Stephanie\u2019s credits include Shakespeare & Company:\u00a0The Tempest<\/em>\u00a0(Juno) and\u00a0The Learned Ladies<\/em>\u00a0(Ariste). Mixed Company:\u00a0Indian Blood<\/em>\u00a0(Jane) directed by Kristin Wold,\u00a0The Cripple of Inishmaan<\/em>\u00a0(Kate),\u00a0The Typewriter Plays<\/em>\u00a0(Adrianna) written and directed by Joan Ackermann, and\u00a0Table Manners\u00a0<\/em>(Ruth).<\/em>\u00a0She is grateful for a lot, including living and working in the Berkshires year-round. \"erika<\/a>Erika Johnson<\/strong>\u00a0(Lighting Design) recently graduated with a BFA in lighting and projection design from the University of Connecticut. She received the Hemsley Lighting Internship, spending the last 6 months working as a lighting design assistant for the Lincoln Center Festival, San Francisco Opera, New York City Ballet, and Alvin Ailey Dance. Previous lighting design work includes Scapin<\/i> (NYC’s Theatre Row), Big Love <\/i>(Connecticut Repertory Theatre), As You Like It<\/i> (Connecticut College). Other S&Co roles include: Eilif, Mother Courage and Her Children; Sir Nathaniel & Berowne, Love\u2019s Labour\u2019s Lost, Clown in The 39 Steps, Gene in Parasite Drag, Sherlock Holmes (and others!) in The Hound of the Baskervilles; Oliver in As You Like It, Pierson in War of the Worlds; Nicodemus\/ Lady Enid in The Mystery of Irma Vep; Birdboot in The Real Inspector Hound; Camillo in The Winters Tale; Catesby in Richard III; Valmont in Les Liaisons Dangereuses; Host of the Garter in Merry Wives of Windsor, Macbeth in the New England Tour and Shakespeare & the Language that Shaped a World. \"jim<\/a>Jim Nutter<\/strong> (Poseidon) Since 1987 Jim has performed in two dozen or more plays, dances and assorted theatrical endeavors with Kristin Wold at StageWest, Shakespeare & Company, DibbleDance and even one radio play (which, oddly enough, did have some dancing in it). He is very happy to be directed by her for the first time and to be taking part in THETIS.<\/p>\n

Tori\u00a0Rhoades<\/strong> is delighted to be performing for Kristin on this project, and with this terrific group of performers. She recently directed Romeo & Juliet<\/em> for Shakespeare & Company\u2019s Conservatory Program, and has directed in many different educational settings, as well as an Assistant Director and Movement Director in the professional theatre.\u00a0 Tori is a teacher of Movement and Acting in Shakespeare & Company\u2019s Actor Training Program, and teaches, when time permits, for S&Co\u2019s Education Program, where she first began as a director and teacher in the Fall Festival of Shakespeare.\u00a0\u00a0 She has created performing arts curricula rooted in S&Co\u2019s Education teaching pedagogy, and she continues to develop teaching methodologies based upon her work at Shakespeare & Company integrated with the relational psychology work of Carol Gilligan.\u00a0 Victoria\u2019s work is rooted in the ways our human relationships and creative selves are affected by cultural messages of gender, and their effects on our bodies and voices. She holds a BS in acting from Northwestern University; an MA from NYU\u2019s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, specializing in documenting Shakespeare & Company\u2019s teaching methods and their impact on the emotional well-being of adolescent girls.\u00a0 She holds a PhD From NYU\u2019s School of Culture, Education and Human Development.\u00a0 Victoria originally trained as a ballet dancer many years ago; injuries halted her work as a dancer until she met choreographer and teacher, Susan Dibble, with whom she discovered a way to move with joy, yet without further injury. \u00a0She has performed for Susan Dibble on multiple occasions. As an actor, Victoria has worked in regional theatre, feature film and television commercials. In the one-woman show Shakespeare’s Will<\/i>, directed by Daniela Varon, she played Anne Hathaway, Shakespeare’s enigmatic wife. In Julius Caesar<\/i>, the ‘bare Bard’ production directed by Tina Packer, she played Portia, Calpurnia, Lucius, Metellus Cimber and Pindarus. \u00a0A long-time resident of the Berkshires, Wold played Ariel in two Shakespeare & Company productions of The Tempest<\/i>, first with Michael Hammond as Prospero in 2001 and again with Olympia Dukakis as Prospera in 2012. In King Lear<\/i> she was Regan opposite Dennis Krausnick in 2012 and Cordelia opposite Jonathan Epstein in 2003.
